I was, after the fashion of humanity, in love with my name, and, as young educated people commonly do, I wrote it everywhere.

Tools of the Trade
Spray Paint : speed, portability, and permanence make aerosol paint a common graffiti medium.
Markers : (paint/ink) leave a thick opaque line, covering the surface and anything underneath. Steel tips, White out pens, Felt tips and Mops are the common choices.
Stickers : a form of tagging, commonly saying “Hello, my name is”. From generic blank stickers with the writer’s tag, to elaborate stickers with little pieces/characters.
THE MODERN-DAY WRITER HAS AN ARSENAL OF TOOLS THAT ALLOW FOR A SUCCESSFUL PRODUCTION OF A PIECE.

Writer vs Artist
Street Bomber Writer : Throw-ups or tags for quick execution. Almost always paints in the middle of the night/early morning (under pseudonyms) to insure not getting caught. The freehand use of aerosol is the art's defining factor, and takes years to perfect.
Street Artist : Unlike writers, employs everything from acrylic/oil paint to projectors, wood/metal, and multimodal materials & paints in broad daylight. Does not follow the rules/hierarchy of a writer's side of the graff world.
STREET ART IS LEGAL. GRAFFITI IS NOT.
